The Vancouver Media Co-op is rearing its head once again. It's time for
that time-honoured tradition, the  **VMC Community Dinner**!

RESISTING GENTRIFICATION Community Dinner

Join us at this **delicious fundraiser** for the [Media
Co-op](http://www.mediacoop.ca) and [_The
Dominion_](http://www.dominionpaper.ca) magazine, featuring a **hot
dinner** and a **hot topic.**

We'll hear from activists and residents with years of experience
organizing against gentrification, from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside to
San Francisco's Mission District. Find out who's renovicting, who's
resisting and who pulls the strings.

Support your favorite **grassroots news co-operative** and learn more
about **reader-funded journalism**!

When: **6-8:30 pm at the Dogwood Centre, 706 Clark Drive**
Cost: **$0-$20 sliding scale.**
All are welcome. Please help us make this event accessible for others!

Dinner will be served at 6:30 sharp. There will be vegan, non-vegan and
gluten-free options.
