*Upcoming events from the Strathcona Midwifery Collective:*
On Tuesday May 28th at 6:00 the Strathcona Midwifery Collective is hosting
a '*Home Birth Information Night*'. This is a great opportunity to find
out more about home birth, ask questions, and see our home birth set up in
person.
On Monday June 3rd at 12:30 SMC is hosting an open door '*Meet the Midwife*'.
This is a chance to drop in and meet our midwives, ask questions about
midwifery care, pregnancy, newborn care, and breastfeeding. This is a very
casual drop in style event; you may find the midwives sorting donations or
making posters!
Finally, on Monday June 17th at 6:00 we're hosting a mini-class
entitled '*Empowered
Birth*'. This event is an overview of things families can do to have a
more empowered birthing experience. This class does not substitute for
prenatal classes, but is a nice addition to prenatal education and the
chance to hear from our midwives.
see www.strathconamidwiferycollective.com for more information.
Please also register in advance for our evening events as our seating space
is limited.
Thank you and see you soon!
