*GAZA under ATTACK, END the OCCUPATION!*

Since Wednesday, November 14, Israel has been brutally bombarding Gaza.
Over 1300 places have been bombed. More than 100 Palestinians have died,
over 600 are injured, and the death toll is rising rapidly. Israel has
called on 75,000 reservists and is gathering its tanks and forces at the
border to prepare for a ground incursion, which could take place in as
little as 36 hours according to the ultimatum issued by the Israeli
government.  ****

Join us on unceded Musqueam land for a panel discussion and critical
dialogue to address the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza, global solidarity
movements, and resistance against colonialism and occupation. Our speakers
include Hanna Kawas, the chair of Canada Palestine Association and host of
Voice of Palestine. He will discuss international complicity in the attacks
and siege on Gaza, and the Canadian role in particular. Khaled Barakat is a
Palestinian writer and community activist. He will discuss the history of
resistance and struggle in Gaza. This event will be facilitated by Razan
Abu-Remaileh, a Palestinian activist and student who is taking First
Nations Studies and Women’s Studies at UBC. She will make connections
between Indigenous struggles in Can
