UBC – unceded Musqueam territory
(SUB/Student Union Building - 6138 Student Union Boulevard; West of the bus loop, past the sports field)

Rally and fundraiser in support of those who faced political persecution during the Toronto G20, many of whom still face charges. * Donations will go towards the legal fees of G20 defendants. *
  
Speakers will address their experiences and arrests during the G20 and discuss how globalization and the G8/G20 affect us all. Speakers include Kirk Chavarie (UBC Okanagan student who was arrested), Yifan Lee (UBC student who was arrested, Food Not Bombs), Sozan Savehilaghi (No One Is Illegal, 2010 Welcoming Committee), and Garth Mullins (Olympic Resistance Network, anti-globalization organizer and researcher).
