Federico Fuentes is a participant in
the revolutionary process in Venezuela, and a writer for Venezuelanalysis. com,
Green Left Weekly and BoliviaRising. Blogspot. com.

Venezuela's Bolivarian
Revolution began in 1999 when Hugo Chavez became the president of
Venezuela, and has set off a wave of revolutionary activity in Latin America in the
ensuing 11 years. Since 2005, Hugo Chavez has openly identified the goal of the
Bolivarian revolution as "21 Century Socialism".

While Venezuela's
Bolivarian Revolution has accomplished much in the past 11 years, much remains
to be done, and the goal of "21st Century Socialism" has yet to be realized. At
the same time, reactionary forces seek to overturn the gains of the past 11
years. Join us for a discussion with Federico Fuentes on the state of the
Bolivarian Revolution, both its successes, and the challenges that lie
ahead.
