The Olympic Resistance Network will be at Car-Free Day at the Drive – Sunday, June 14 @ Napier and Commercial
 
Come out to the neighbourhood Car-Free festival on Commercial Drive this Sunday, learn more about the Olympics’ impacts on our communities, and connect with other folks about your concerns.  The Olympic Resistance Network will be at Napier and Commercial throughout the day (11 am – 7pm) and offering workshops on your legal rights and basic medical care for activists.
 
1pm, 3pm, 5pm:  Legal workshops – Legal brief on your rights as the Olympic police structure comes down on Vancouver.  With a $1 billion security budget and expanded police powers, we need to know some basic rules to help protect activists and all Vancouverites.
 
1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm:  Medical workshops – Street medic skills for addressing the tactics of aggressive policing which accompany the Olympic Games and the Vancouver security forces.
