Protest the escalation of the war in Afghanistan Sat. Dec 12 -- No more troops, end the occupation now!

Sat. Dec. 12, 12 Noon @ Robson & Homer (outside the VPL downtown branch)

With
President Obama's announcement of a massive escalation of the war in
Afghanistan, with upwards of 30,000 additional US troops to be deployed
in early 2010, the anti-war movement is responding with a much-needed
'surge' of its own. There have been emergency protests in cities across
the U.S. and, on Dec. 12, there will be a major action in Washington,
D.C. against the escalation.

StopWar.ca is calling for a
protest here in Vancouver, Saturday Dec. 12, 12 noon, outside the
Vancouver Public Library downtown on the Robson side (at Homer). We
hope you can join us. Here are some links to articles responding to the
escalation -- please share these resources with friends.
