Café Rebelde and Haiti Solidarity BC Present:

Special Showing of Documentary Film ¡Salud!


Join us for “a timely examination of human values and the health issues
that affect us all… From the shores of Africa to the Americas, !Salud!
hits the road with some of the 28,000 Cuban health professionals
serving in 68 countries, and explores the hearts and minds of
international medical students in Cuba -- now numbering 30,000,
including nearly 100 from the USA.”

 

Speaker from Haiti Solidarity BC followed by a discussion and reflections on the film.

By donation. All funds raised will go to the Canada Haiti Medical Project.

The
Canada Haiti Action Network and the Rotary World Help Network have
founded an aid project to ship vitally-needed medical supplies to
Haiti. The Canada Haiti Medical Project will send shipments of
vitally-needed medical supplies, collected by the Rotary Club World
Help Network from participating medical institutions in British
Columbia and shipped in a 40-foot container. Partners in Health
coordinates the distribution of the medical supplies in Haiti.
