*	Hard Times Come Again No More: Discussion and sharing

Monday April 20th, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. 1115 B East Hasting (entrance on Glen
Drive)

 

Please join us for an informal discussion and sharing about how women are
dealing with the current economic crisis. This will build on the discussion
we began at our International Women's Day event last month.

Snacks will be provided. Kids are welcome!

 

*	Mothers' Day 2009! Mothers on the March: March, rally, and art and
writing contest. (Cash and other prizes available!)

Sunday May 10th, 2:00 Location to be announced

 

Join Grassroots Women for our 6th annual Mothers' Day march and rally! This
year, we are also sponsoring an art and writing contest. Cash and other
prizes available for visual art, creative writing, songs, or multimedia
submissions on the theme of Mothers on the March: Understanding, Surviving
and Resisting the Economic Crisis. 

 

Submit entries by Sunday May 3rd to Grassroots Women (1115B E. Hastings,
