[Volcano Volunteers]

Under the Volcano returns to Cates Park, Whey-ah-Wichen, North
Vancouver, on Sunday August 10th 2008 for another year of inspiring
and charged music, art, spoken word, workshops and more.

UTV, the West Coast's longest running festival of art, music, and
social change,  is 100% volunteer-run and relies on great people like
you to make it happen. For a 3-hour shift, volunteers get free
entrance to the festival, a t-shirt, and lunch. Sign up by filling out

This year's line-up includes:
*Tegan and Sara performing a special acoustic set,
*Sherman Austin - Political activist and MC from L.A.
*The Pack A.D. - Joplin meets White Stripes blues-duo on Mint Records
*DJ Chela - Scratch DJ spinning revolutionary themes
*Sangha with Fatieth Honari - Canada's premier Balochi vocalist
accompanied by four piece mixing Persian, Indian & Arabic traditions
*Declan de Barra - Brilliant singer (ex-Clann Zu) joining us all the
