Hey everyone, we've just spent a year making a movie about life
on the road as a radical folk singer...there are lots of
comrades in it.  I am moving out of Vancouver and this is one
of the last things I am doing, come see the movie, come say
goodbye with me...cheers and thanx for everything over the

In October-November 2006 I (Joey Only) suffered through another
tour of Canada, only three months after surgery for
tuberculosis. It was the fourth time I toured to Eastern
Canada so many of the shows were a lot better for me, though
the exhaustion was intense. Soon I had found myself playing in
even the most remotest communities like the Yukon and
Newfoundland, bringing them my version of radical folk music
while visiting and revisiting all my friends.

But there is no glory in touring and singing folk songs.
Sometimes there are disasters, poverty, sickness and
exhaustion. The addiction of traveling and the high of
delivering a great performance is why they’d keep at it. There
are great shows and exciting times and there is always the
innevitable crash and the hardness of reality, when things out
there don’t go as how you planned.
