One of the icons of recent activist oriented folk music has
been David Rovics.  He has travelled the globe and then some to
bring about his own brand of radical story telling.  We are
priveledged to bring him on to the stage of one of Vancouver's
best clubs to opened by one of Vancouver's best loved radical
folk singers...Joey Only.  Tickets will $10 at the door and the
show will start at 9:30.  This is one historical event you will
not want to miss.

Positively Punk is a two hour radio special designed to have a
look at the good influence punk rock has had on the kids,
largely in a Canadian context.  We will be playing tracks from
influencial bands who display social and political messages as
a walk down history lane.

Also we will feature interviews with SPIDER the infamous 70
year old punk rocker who hosts PUNKFEST every year in eastern
Ontario and NOAH LEVINE who authored DHARMA PUNX and many other
books.  Noah is a teacher of buddhist meditations and practices
from California who has lived the punk life up and down...and
survived.  Do not miss this radio special if you love political
punk rock!

in 9 days we are having a quick breather before the summer gets
crazy again.  Already we have an encore tour to Alberta booked
for June and it sounds like Joey may go for a solo trip to
