Rally in Support of Malalai Joya

Join in demanding that Malalai Joya be reinstated to Afghanistan's 
parliament

Last month, Malalai Joya, Afghanistan's most outspoken
and popular women's rights leader, was suspended from
parliament on spurious grounds. Joya has been a
courageous critic of the warlords in the Karzai
government, and has criticized the NATO war.

This rally will demand:

-That Malalai Joya be reinstated to her democratically
elected position in parliament,

-That Joya be defended against the threat of
assassination,

-and that NATO and Canada cease propping up a
warlord-filled government, and waging a war that is
causing heavy civilian casualties.
