Have you or your community ever feared DEPORTATION?

Take action for change! Share your story!

Grassroots Women is undertaking a participatory action research project
examining deportation and other immigration policies, with a focus on their
impact on working class women, particularly non-status, refugee, (im)migrant
and Indigenous women. We will be conducting interviews and focus groups
until the end of August.

Target participants for interview include:

*	Women who have feared or are facing deportation from Canada
*	Women whose family members or community members have feared
deportation or have been ordered deported
*	Service work providers (eg. church people, health workers,
immigration lawyers, translators, etc.) who have come in contact with people
who face deportation
*	Members of advocacy groups who are dealing with the issues of
migrant workers, refugees and other people facing deportation from Canada

We also welcome volunteers who are interesting in assisting with
interviewing, transcribing, and other tasks for the project.
