poet, the legendary CHRIS CHANDLER and his New Orleans bred
accompanyist David Roe. Silly and bald Chris has a way of
turning the audience into helpless fits of laughter, then he
brings it all right back to the ugly truth leaving everyone
shocked. CHRIS CHANDLER last came to Vancouver on a July
evening, now this Georgian comes back in the dead of January to
join Joey Only at THE RAILWAY CLUB. He is one of the premiere
folk poets in the United States, a great working class radical
and a visionary of many sorts.

Anne is already known as one of the greats in the history of
radical/labour folk music. Utah Philips calls Anne the best
labour singer in America. She has been touring for 35 years. We
last hosted this great folksinger at the fabulous Railway Club
downtown on a cool June night. Now she returns to Commercial
Drive to play with Joey Only at Cafe Rime. Anne has been all
over the world in those short few months and will no doubt have
something fresh to talk about...Most likely it will be about
war and poverty and revolution.
