[van-announce] Funding Available for Community Initiatives and Small Publications

[SFPIRG Donations]

SFPIRG is currently seeking donation requests from community groups
for large donations (between $300 and $500) and publications (for up
to $250).

Application deadline is March 15th 2007.

Donation Critera:

1. The proposal must fall under the mandate of a commitment to social
and environmental justice.
2. This funding is intended for grassroots groups (not organizations
larger than us or branches/chapters of larger groups; we operate on
around $150,000 a year and do not offer funding to organizations with
larger operating budgets).
3. This funding is primarily intended for local groups/projects.
4. SFPIRG will not donate to individuals fundraising for student or
work exchanges.
