                   A PAIR OF ANTI-NPA ACTIONS

NPA YOUR TIME IS UP!
Wednesday April 25th
Heritage Hall @ 6pm
3102 Main St. (at 15th)

Join a community led demonstration to confront the NPA's Annual General
Meeting and oppose NPA oppression!

The NPA is a failed political party. Their legacy is a brutal assault on
poor people with women, indigenous people and racialized communities as
the primary targets. Homelessness has increased on mass, as has the
policing of poverty. The NPA’s political vision is social cleansing and
they conduct their brutal business with no real significant ‘official’
opposition. We the people are defending ourselves and fighting back!

Scrap Civil City! Implement Homeless Action Plan! Enact Housing
Moratorium! Reinvest Olympic Slush Fund! Cancel 2010!

FIGHT ‘SAFE STREETS’, ‘CIVIL CITY’
FIGHT SOCIAL CLEANSING!

Thursday April 26th
12 noon
Burrard Sky Train Station
March to Canada Place

Join the Anti-Poverty Committee in protesting the Safe Streets Act and
project Civil City. Both have led to a disastrous escalation of social
cleansing for poor people who are street involved workers. Panhandlers and
squeegee workers are being ticketed, red zoned and jailed for their labor.

Protest the Downtown Business Improvement Association’s (DVBIA) General
Meeting featuring Mayor Sam Sullivan as guest speaker. The DVBIA and
Sammy’s NPA are ultimately responsible for both the Safe Streets Act and
Civil City.

Let’s stand together, squeegees in hand, and bring their class war to them!
