René Gonzalez, Ramón Labañino, Gerardo Hernández, 
Antonio Guerrero, and Fernando González are five
Cuban men who are in prison in the United States
for simply defending their country, Cuba, from 
terrorist attacks by right-wing groups in Miami.

These five men never harmed anyone, yet they are 
in prison while the anti-Cuban terrorists they 
tried to stop, are being protected by the U.S. 
government.

On August 9th 2005, 3 judges of the 11th Circuit 
Court of Appeals released a 93 page document 
outlining their decision on the case of the Cuban 
5 for a re-trial with a change of venue.  However 
since this decision was made the government of the 
U.S. has intervened appealing the decision by the 
11th Circuit court and demanding that a full 12 
judge panel review the decision. With their appeal, 
the U.S. claims there is no reason for a re-trial 
and is acting to block any progress made in the case 
of the Cuban 5. We must condemn the actions of the 
U.S. government and demand freedom for the 5 Cuban
Heroes. 

Join us in our 3rd picket action while the 5 Cuban
Heroes 
argue for justice in the courtroom on February 13th.
