Silent Auction to Support Chenery Family
Friday August 25th
7pm @ 327 Carrall st.

The Anti-Poverty Committee is holding a fundraiser to help financially
support the Chenery family in their struggle to re-unite. Please come out
and show your support by bidding on one of several hand made medicine
bags, traditional jewellery, original silk-screen posters, and much more.

All proceeds will go to helping bring the family back together, renting a
new home and furnishing it.

Teresa Chenery is the sister of Gerald Chenery, an aboriginal man the
Vancouver Police murdered by shooting 14 times in a back alley. She has
been working tirelessly to bring the police to justice and to save her
family. “It’s been a long time coming to see the kids again. Over a year.
We want our lives back!”

If you are unable to make the auction but would like to donate to Teresa
directly, please contact her at spottedsage at hotmail.com
