Please join Grassroots Women for a forum and discussion on Understanding
Childcare Policy in Canada.

* Review the history and context of the development of childcare policy
* Understand recent developments and changes
* Share experiences of childcare and discuss the impacts of previous and
existing childcare policy on working class women's lives
* Develop strategies to press for universal childcare as a woman's right

The forum will be held at our office (1115 B E. Hastings Street, enter from
Glen Street) on Sunday August 20th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

Refreshments will be provided.
