[van-announce] Send Your Winter Event Listings to Momentum Magazine

Howdy,

We're busily working away on the December/January issue of Momentum, Vancouver and Victoria's magazine for self-propelled people, and we're on the prowl for winter events to plug into our "Bicycalendar" section.  
 
The Bicycalendar is a catch-all for various events, including: 
-sustainability, environmentalist, and activist forums, community meetings, events, and workshops
-bicycle maintenance and safety workshops
-fun(d)-raisers
-bike-related performances, screenings, radio shows, readings, exhibitions
-sporting events: cycling, ice skating, roller skating, skateboarding - anything 'self-propelled' 
 
If you know of any such events happening in the Lower Mainland or Victoria during Decembrrrr and January, please email the chilly details to momentum_bicycalendar at yahoo.ca before November 5th.

 

Keep your submission to about 25 words or so please, and be sure to include who is organizing the event and all relevant contact information for the public. 

 

Apologies for cross-postings and feel free to spread the word about the free Bicycalendar listings to your friends in self-propelled, sustainability, environmentalist and activist communities.
