[van-announce] Oct 26: Next MAWO Meeting!

Reminder:

The next meeting of Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) is coming 
up this Wednesday October 26 at 6:30pm. The meeting will be at the Britannia 
Community Center on Commercial Drive.

We are coming to the meeting this week following the success of the October 
22 rally against the war at home and abroad. On Saturday we rallied with 
over 200 people demanding an end to the occupation of Afghanistan and an end 
to the attacks at home and abroad with Indigenous leaders, students and BC 
teachers all speaking out in solidarity with oppressed people 
internationally!

Coming up this week we have the MAWOWE’EN fundraiser and MAWO’s 2nd 
anniversary party on October 31st! We are also working toward planning and 
organizing our actions for the coming months, the rally and conference 
coming up on November 19th and 20th and the major 3rd annual Antiwar Film 
Festival for two straight days in December. Come out and get involved!
