Reminder…
The next meeting of Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) is this 
Wednesday November 16 at 6:30pm at the Britannia Community Center (1661 
Napier St – on Commercial Drive at Napier St)!

We’re gearing up for a major weekend of action with the November 19 
demonstration “US/UK Out of Iraq!” “Canada Out of Afghanistan!” and the 
November 20 Conference “Canada: Imperialist At Home, Imperialist Abroad”. 
This weekend we’re combining action with all-day education and discussion 
about war and occupation globally and building the antiwar movement. This is 
an especially important time to mobilize and educate with Canada’s war drive 
on the rise. We need to continue our work in building a broad and strong 
opposition and movement in Canada. At the meeting we'll be discussing these 
important actions so come out and get involved!

MAWO has actions planned from now through to the international days of 
action on the weekend of March 18 on the 3rd anniversary of the invasion of 
Iraq including a  major mobilization at the Vancouver Art Gallery and a 
conference on Sunday March 19 - come out to the meeting to find out more!

anyone you think would be interested to encourage them to get involved!)
