                         Conference - June 24 to 26


Envisioning People's Struggles is a conference being organized in 
Vancouver, BC on the weekend of June 24 - 26 to bring together issues and 
analysis from many different perspectives and fronts of the many struggles 
against war, capitalism and imperialism.  It will be a weekend of 
workshops, panels, film screenings and strategy sessions touching on such 
topics as:

      * Resisting 2010 Olympics
      * The Possibilities and Limitations of Electoralism
      * Rethinking the Labour Movement
      * The Globalization of War & the assault of globalization
      * Confronting Fortress North America
      * Struggles for Indigenous Self-Determination: fighting mining and
          forestry destruction
      * Local and International Health
      * Anti-Poverty and Gentrification
      * Women and Feminist Organizing
