Here's an upcoming event that will be of interest:

Communicating the #1 Highway expansion
Thursday, 17 March, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The first in a series of capacity-building workshops. This two-hour workshop 
will:

* Introduce participants to the #1 Highway expansion plans;
* Outline alternatives groups have proposed;
* Help participants develop a clear set of messages to communicate opposition 
to the expansion;
* Help participants package this information in a way that can be shared in 
various ways and venues (from street corners, to neighbourhood meetings, to 
speaking to politicians, etc;
* Encourage confidence to communicate opposition to the highway expansion and 
articulate sustainable alternatives.

Everyone interested in learning more about the #1 Highway expansion welcome.
