Next Meeting of Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO)
Date: Wednesday March 9
Time: 6:30pm
Place: Britannia Community Center
in the Family Room (just opposite the entrance to the Library)

Our organizing is developing a sense of urgency as we countdown to the International Day of Action on the 2nd Anniversary of the US/UK Invasion of Iraq, March 19, 2005. This is a day that marks 2 years of the most recent imperialist assault on the people of Iraq and 2 years of resistance, in Iraq and around the world. It is a day when we have the opportunity to mobilize and reach a lot of people in the Lower Mainland to participate in the demonstration MAWO is organizing on March 19 at 12noon at the Vancouver Art Gallery and the conference MAWO is organizing on March 20 and say "Yes to Self Determination!" and "No to Occupation of Iraq!"
