[van-announce] Sunday: George Bush in Pride Parade

Join StopWar in the Pride Parade this Sunday, July 31!

We'll be taking George W. Bush in this year's parade.
The U.S. President will be appearing in statue form,
from last year's rallies against his visit to Canada,
and holding a sign saying,

"Proud to be a homophobic war criminal"

Activists will be handing StopWar.ca buttons, balloons
and flyers to the crowd at the parade.

We hope you can join us, and more than 100 000 others,
this Sunday in downtown Vancouver.

-Assemble at 10:30a.m. at point D: 1800 Block Albernie
North Side

(Directions to assembly point: Robson West to
Gilford/Gilford North to Albernie/ East on Albernie,
North Side)

-Parade starts at noon.
