[van-announce] free list of activist events in The Republic

The Republic is a Vancouver-based independent bi-weekly newspaper 
with a readership of around 14,000, mostly in Vancouver, but also 
reaching around BC, Canada, and the US. We want to start listing 
events for free that are taking place around Vancouver and that are 
political in nature, and I am inviting all organizers to send us 
notices. We'll work out details, like format and word maximums, after 
we see what we need to work with.

Also, as some Vancouver organizations already know, we offer discount 
display ad rates for organizations with political activist activities 
to advertise. Normally our rates are $10 per square inch, and 25% off 
when 12 issues are committed to in a year. We will advertise activist 
events at 50% off these rates.
