NEXT MAWO MEETING!

We invite you to the first Mobilization Against War and Occupation general meeting of 2005! It will be held on January 5th, 2005 at Britannia Community Center - 1661 Napier St (@ Commercial Dr)
 
In 2005 we will continue to see the development of the era of war and occupation across the globe, as the US-led forces try desperately to find some stability for their occupation of Iraq. Our role, as antiwar activists, will only become more important, as our brothers and sisters in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Haiti and Indigenous nations in Canada continue the fight for sovereignty and freedom. 
 
MAWO will be organizing a program of action throughout the year, with our first major event on the International Day of Action, January 20th. Hazem Jamjoum (Al Awda Toronto), Mostafa Henawi (Al Awda Uof T, June 30th Organizing Committee) and Liisa Schofield (June 30th Organizing Committee) will all be speaking from Toronto to bring words of resistance and solidarity from across Canada.  
 
Join us in planning the January 20th mobilization, the mobilization on February 26th and the March weekend of MAWO events, with the mobilization on March 19th and an all-day anti occupation conference on March 20th, planned for the 2nd Anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq.
