Reminder:
Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) meeting this week!

Wednesday December 21
6:30pm
at the Britannia Community Center (1661 Napier St – on Commercial Drive at 
Napier St)

This week we are riding in off the success of the wildly successful 3rd 
Annual Antiwar Film Festival! Held over the last weekend, showing 18 films 
and attracting many, many people to view the films and take part in the 
festival, the weekend an important step in building the antiwar movement. 
The success of the annual antiwar film festival shows clearly the impact and 
effectiveness of combining art and culture with politics and the power of 
bringing people face-to-face with struggles against imperialism from people 
all over the world.

Come out to the meeting this week to discuss and reflect on the success of 
the 3rd Annual Antiwar Film Festival and toward building the antiwar 
movement in the new year with the January 28th mobilization all the way up 
to the March 18-19 International Weekend of Action and beyond!
