NEXT ORGANIZING MEETING OF MOBILIZATION AGAINST WAR & OCCUPATION ( MAWO):

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 10
6:30PM
at the Britannia Community Center

The antiwar movement in Vancouver and all across Canada has come into a new 
period of action and organizing. The necessity of exposing and opposing the 
intensification of the Canadian armed forces occupation of Afghanistan and 
the over 500-year occupation of Indigenous Nations in Canada presents itself 
even more urgently as Canada continues to increase its troop force in 
Afghanistan and is showing its imperialist face to the world. MAWO is 
organizing a picket this week and a demonstration on August 20th to raise 
our voices against this criminal occupation and in solidarity with the 
struggling people of Afghanistan. Come out this week to organize and carry 
out the most important campaign for the antiwar movement in Canada, exposing 
and opposing Canadian imperialism on its home turf.
