[van-announce] Spartacus Books Book Drive

With Spartacus opening its doors again this September, right next to our
old space, at 319 West Hastings - 2nd Floor (with elevator, for
accessibility), we are putting a call-out for donated books to help stock
our shelves.

...We are particularly (but not just) looking for:
* feminist books
* indigenous sovereignty books
* queer books
* artsy books
* comix books
* enviro books
* veggie books
* anarcho books
* working peoples' books
* anti-racism books
* anti-cop and anti-prison books
* socialisty books
* and of course your 'zines, posters and artwork to make the store feel
like home...

...and a vast array of good fiction, poetry and anything relevant to the
revolution!  you should remember the kinds of books we carried there - it
hasn't been that long since the fire!

We are able to pick up your used books throughout the month of August, or
we can arrange a good time for you to drop them off.  Just email me at
jessica at resist.ca to make arrangements for pick-up or drop-off.


We'll have an info booth at Under the Volcano this Sunday, August 7th, at
Whey-ah-Wichen (Cates Park) if you wanna drop by and find out about our
new store!

on September 9th, doors at 8pm
at the Anza Club (3 8th Ave. West, at Ontario).
