Dear Wreck Beach and Pacific Spirit Park Supporters:

Come all -- To the one-year anniversary of the protests against the towers when the blimp was raised.

When: Sunday, April 24, 12 Noon (Group photo at 12:30 PM sharp because of the tides)
Where: Wreck Beach, Trail 6 Access

One year ago the Wreck Beach Preservation Society (WBPS) raised a blimp to reveal how UBC's ill-conceived and secretly-planned high rise towers would harshly impact the fragile Point Grey foreshore. Come enjoy the sunshine and music, bring some lunch, and help protect Pacific Spirit Park from further damage.

If we are rained out or the skies are too cloudy and dark, we will go with the alternate date: Sunday, May 8 (Mother's Day).
