 RALLY 2:30pm @ Vancouver Art Gallery (Robson St @ Howe)  Featuring performances by: Solidarity Notes Choir & the Carnival Band!
 

Mayday 2004 has been established in Vancouver history as a proud example of what solidarity among working and poor people looks like. That day more than 10,000 working and poor people rallied on the international workers day in support of the Hospital Employees Union strike against the BC Liberal Government.

 

Expressing our unity through mobilization on Mayday is as important today under the neo-liberal Campbell government as it ever has been. We are calling all poor, working and oppressed people to join us on Mayday to celebrate and fight for a better world!
