STUDENT ANTI WAR EVENTS ONGOING...
  the Student Week Against War and Occupation 2004

  Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO)'s campaign on campuses across the lower mainland, the Student Week Against War and Occupation (SWAWO) 2004, is now under way. The series of events to energize, educate and mobilize students to take action and get involved began September 13th with forums, film showings, rallies and teach-ins at Langara College, University of British Columbia and Douglas College. There have been 7 events held so far and the estimated total number of students participating is more than 300! Over the remaining 6 we will be hitting 9 more campuses  in a flurry of anti war organizing and activity.  

  The anti-war movement in Vancouver has continued to build through consistent mobilization alongside the growing international movement. The Student Week Against War and Occupation has an important role to play as a part of this. Students and youth need to use their energy and vision to lead this movement for self-determination of all oppressed nations forward. On September 25th, we will see the escalating momentum from the Student Week Against War and Occupation spill out onto the streets of downtown Vancouver as students and youth  lead the demonstration on September 25th, "Students, Youth: Educate, Organize, Mobilize Against War and Occupation!" 

  On September 25th, join us at 3pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery to say:

  "End the Occupation!"

  "Self-Determination for Iraqi People!" 

  "In Solidarity with the Palestinian Resistance to Occupation On the Anniversary of the Beginning of the 2nd Intifada!"
