[van-announce] Take Back the Night

Hello Women,

Well it is that time of year!  Please join us for TAKE BACK THE NIGHT
 a 
women-only public protest to end male violence against women.  Vancouver 
Rape Relief and Women’s Shelter’s organizing this year’s event to begin at 
Jonathan Rogers Park at East 7th Avenue and Manitoba (between Main and 
Cambie) at 7:30pm on September 25th,  2004.  Please post the attached 
poster and distribute widely.

We sincerely hope that you will come out in numbers to show women that we 
are still open and fighting back despite all the cuts and all the attacks 
on us.  Please organize yourselves and all the women you know to come out 
and take over the streets. If your organization has a banner please bring 
it. We also need lots of safety women on the night 
 if you are interested
