=============================================

We invite all those interested in getting involved in No One is Illegal's
ongoing work and current campaigns to attend.

Also those involved in other groups and organizations are encouraged to
attend to continue to build networks and alliances amongst our work to
find concrete ways to support each others campaigns (eg outreach etc)

Our current campaigns to get involved in include

1) Restore legal aid campaign: Campaign to restore legal aid for
immigration and refugee cases (one of the BC Liberals cuts) through public
forums, demonstrations and involvement in BC wide coalitions against the
Liberals cuts.

2) Supporting Refugees Against Racial Profiling:
- campaign against Immigration and Refugee Board. Currently involves an
affidavit campaign to gather anonymous testimonies from refugees going
through the Refugee Determination system.
- major community based mobilization in January to highlight the struggles
of immigrants and refugees in Canada. This will include construction of a
refugee camp over the weekend.

3) Continued support for the Skwelkwek'welt Protection Center: a targeted
and effective national campaign against Sun Peaks resort and Delta Hotels.

There are other various ways for folks to get involved including
logistical support eg website, producing material, organizing public
education events etc. We encourage newcomers to attend and keep in touch.
Hope to see you there.

DIGNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITIES.

The No One is Illegal campaign is in full confrontation with Canadian
colonial border policies, denouncing and taking action to combat racial
profiling of immigrants and refugees, detention and deportation policies,
and wage-slave conditions of migrant workers and non-status people. We
struggle for the right for our communities to maintain their livelihoods
and resist war, occupation and displacement.
