BACKGROUND INFO:
---------------->

PERFORNANCE BOND is a book of poetry and short fiction. It comes with a
compact disc featuring a lit-hop performance of "The Reinventing Wheel:
Ouroboros Mix" with music by Trevor Thompson. The collection's final long
poem, "Rune," includes photographs by Robert Sherrin and graffiti by Jason
de Couto.

{Wayde Compton wrote 49th Parallel Psalm (Advance Editions-Arsenal Pulp,
1999) and Performance Bond (Arsenal Pulp, 2004), and edited Bluesprint:
Black British Columbian Literature and Orature (Arsenal Pulp, 2002). He
spins lit-hop with Jason de Couto in The Contact Zone Crew, and is a
co-founding member of the Hogan's Alley Memorial Project, an organization
dedicated to preserving the public memory of Vancouver's original black
community. He lives in Vancouver and teaches English composition and
literature at Coquitlam College.}

LETTRICITY is Kaie Kellough's first collection of poems. LETTRICITY is a
dedication to a tan nation, set in the streets of Montreal. The language
of these poems is sonorous, and liable to leap from English to French to
Patwa to Joual and back. LETTRICITY fuses the rhythms and sounds of
downtown living with those of bebop, reggae, and blues.
