WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE

Where:

On June 12th "Bare as you Dare Ride". Cyclists in Vancouver, Toronto,
Montreal, London, Seattle, San Francisco, Asheville, Austin, Chicago, The
Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and many many more will be riding naked
through the cities of the world.
The Vancouver ride will start from Sunset Beach (Beach ave @ Bute).
Start time 3:30 p.m.

Why:

Our idea is to protest oil dependency by celebrating our bodies in action
while satirizing the powers that pollute.
.Plus, being naked is cool. Our world message is simplification, human
harmony and love...

For a future to exist for tomorrow's generations, we must stop wasting the
life blood energy of the Earth, stop fighting and killing in the name of
consumerist wealth accumulation and learn to love and respect all life, and
to continue to spread this message.

Who: Anyone who owns a naked body (oh and maybe a bike).
The World Naked Bike ride is being organized democratically on e-mail
discussion list across the world.
All are invited to help organize and participate in this event.
All you have to do to participate is show up at the start location at
3:30pm and let the good times roll.

How many people?

The world record of 250 naked cyclists was set exactly one year ago by the
Ciclo Nudista in Spain, June 12th 2003.
Our goal for Vancouver is to break this record with a total of 350 cyclists.
World wide, we are expecting 3000 cyclists.

Can't decide what not to wear? Don't despair. Bare as you Dare!
You do not have to ride completely naked.

Cyclists are encouraged to be creative, wear a hat, do some body painting,
be a super hero, don some pasties, or a tube-sock, it's entirely up to you.
