FYI-

 just got some information about submissions of proposals from one of the organizers of the ftm/trans/genderqueer conference in seattle happening this fall. they say to go to the conference website: www.transconference.org and look under  "programming" if you're interested in facilitating or organizing a workshop or panel.  

they also said this:

"the official deadline is May 31st...


"The focus on workshops and panels will not be "this
space is for allies, this one is for people with
disabilities . . ." It will be modeled on what we did
at Melee, where we set up topics where everyone could
bring their own history, no matter how they
identified, and talk about their personal experience. 


"If you need to email your proposal rather than snail
mail it, or want to request an extension on the
deadline, I'm guessing you could work that out -- just
send email to <info at transconference.org>."
