Queer Conference

FRENCH AND ENGLISH SUBMISSIONS WANTED

Stories of Struggle, Pride &Victory Conference
Friday, June 25th, 2004

The Queer Research Group at OISE-UT welcomes conference proposals dealing
with "Stories of Struggle, Pride and Victory." In your work, we challenge
you to consider how queer oppression intersects with other forms of
oppression, and how we can form alliances to challenge oppression in
provocative ways and help build bridges between the public and the academy.

Submission Due Date: June 4th, 2004

Categories for submissions are academic articles, arts-informed
presentations, and media workshops.

Please send an abstract of 200-250 words and a biographical statement of 100
words to spvconference at oise.utoronto.ca

This event is co-sponsored by Professor Rinaldo Walcott, the Graduate
Student Union, the Graduate Student Association, Adult Education and
Counselling Psychology Department, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
Department, Students on Seven, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer
Resources and Programs, and the Queer Student Caucus.
