The next meeting of Communities in Solidarity with Health Care Workers:

Public Meeting:Monday May 10th
6:00 pm
@ the WISE Hall - upstairs
(1882 Adanac @ Victoria in East Van)The demonstration on Saturday May 8 was a great success. There was real unity and power of solidarity felt in the streets of Vancouver with over 400 health care workers and their supporters who marched and rallied against the "deal" made just one week ago to end the HEU strike. 
The short-notice demonstration is part of the work we must do to learn the lessons of the past two weeks and back through all the years working and poor people have been under attack by government in this province. 

At the meeting this Monday we will be assessing this demonstration and the overall situation of working and poor people in BC and planning how we can all move ahead together for the rights of workers, for health care and against the BC Liberal agenda.
