And peacefully protest UBC's proposed Marine Residence Towers

The University of British Columbia has been given the green light to build four, 20-story, 187-1/2 foot student tower residences for 1950 students just across from the cliff edge of Pacific Spirit Regional Park.

The towers threaten Pacific Spirit Regional Park’s cliff stability, migratory and resident birds, wildlife habitat, eagle roosts, viewscapes, and Point Grey and Wreck Beach privacy. Heavy truck movements and construction pile driving will send dangerous vibrations to the cliff face.

Participants are invited to bring picnic lunches, mom, children, musical instruments and pens to fill in the blanks on thousands of sample letters that will be available.
