EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Artists with Disabilities take on the Liberals Campbell Government
The "Window Pain" project grows from the outraged disabled population
who are under attack by bc's neo-liberal government through the Persons
With Disabilities Review.
Ripping It Up artists respond to the question "how has the government
reassessment process affected you?", with paint, music, writing, outrage
and lifesaving solidarity.
We challenge the provincial governments' barbaric welfare and disability
policies.
We demand that the recent attempt to reassess what it means to be
eligible for disability "benefits" in this province be ripped up/
destroyed/ scrapped/ exposed!
