[van-announce] Socialist Weekend Camp in July

The Seattle branch of Socialist Alternative would like to invite you to
attend the annual Seattle Socialist Summer Camp!  Our summer camp is a fun
weekend of cooking around the campfire, relaxing by the river, and 4 or 5
really educational political discussions based around Marxist readings.  The
summer camp will be Friday - Sunday, July 9 - 11, an hour north of Seattle
at the Gold Basin Campgrounds. It is usually beautiful at these campgrounds
in the summer time because Seattle is actually sunny practically every day
in the summer.
 
The meals we cook cost about $25-30 each on average for the weekend, and we
accommodate anyone's special dietary needs.  Campsite reservations cost
between approximately $11-32 depending on whether you want your own tent or
whether you are willing to share a tent with 3 others.  Showers and toilets
are available on the campgrounds. Readings can be emailed and/or mailed to
any out-of-town guests. 
 
In the past, a couple out-of-town visitors have also tried to spend a week
getting involved with the relatively large Seattle branch
and its activities and talking with comrades to take ideas back to their
cities, which they said they found very valuable.  Please contact me with
