There is a fantastic line-up of speakers this Saturday in Victoria 
against
the privatization of our public forests, including Chief Stewart Phillip
(Union of BC Indian Chiefs), Arnold Bercov (Pulp, Paper, and Woodworkers
 of
Canada) and many others. Everyone counts - please come out and send a 
strong
message to the BC Liberal government that the Working Forest Initiative 
and
all measures to enhance corporate control of our public lands are
unacceptable.

Whether you're a tree-hugger, tree-cutter, or concerned citizen, we need
you down for this rally! Your participation makes ALL the difference!

Help stop the Campbell government's "Working Forest" proposal, an
Anti-Forest Protection Act and also a move towards the de facto and
outright privatization of BC's public forest lands. In addition, the
"Forestry Revitalization Act", already passed, is eliminating the local
milling jobs of BC forestry workers, while raw log exports have doubled
since the BC Liberals took power. Please come and help keep our public
lands in public hands!
