2nd Vancouver-Area Anti-Capitalist Convergence

Where:
Dogwood Centre at 706 Clark Drive Vancouver

When:
Saturday, 27th of March 2004 from 5:00 PM until approximately 12:00 PM

Cost: FREE

WHAT:

2nd Vancouver-Area Anti-Capitalist Convergence

WHEN:

Saturday March 27, 5:00 to 9:00pm to be followed by entertainment and refreshments
(till 12:00)

WHERE:

The Dogwood Centre @ 706 Clark Drive in Vancouver

WHY:

The intention of this gathering is to bring together Vancouver area
anti-capitalists for a frank discussion of the current state of affairs. By
having this discussion it is hoped that those attending, whether as groups
or individuals, will come away with a more cohesive understanding of what it
is we [as anti-capitalists] are doing. Particular issues that need to be
discussed include: assessing what strategic and tactical goals/aims we
must we working towards regionally, the possible establishment of a
broader ‘federation’ of those currently seeking the abolishment of the
capitalist economy, etc

[YOUR IDEAS HERE: additional topics for discussion should be sent via email to acpmaction at resist.ca]

WHO:

The intention as mentioned above is to bring together Vancouver area
anti-capitalist groups and individuals. I emphasize that this should be
interpreted as those who ARE taking action as we speak and/or those who WISH
to get active. This is not a panel of speakers, a lecture, or a presentation.
This is the second of many area-based dialogues through which we can make our
movement grow and create a viable left politic so sadly missing in
contemporary society.
