B.C. Hydro rate increases another blow to schools

 

Students, teachers, trustees, and parents are all sounding the alarm about B.C. Hydro rate increases of more than 9% slated to take effect over the next two years.

 

These multimillion dollar Hydro increases have the education community deeply worried, especially because they come on top of the tens of millions of dollars in other unfunded costs already downloaded by Victoria onto families, schools, and communities.
