Hello Friends and Co-Fighters,

Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) will be holding its next general meeting this Wednesday March 10th at 6:30 at Britannia Community Centre (Commercial Drive at Napier). This is an open invitation to all interested in serious, passionate and energetic anti-war, anti-occupation organizing to come out and join us.

Our meeting this week will focus on another bout of "fast organizing" for our forum on Haiti next Sunday night and from there continuing to build the March 20th Global Day of Action which MAWO is organizing, 12 noon at the Vancouver Art Gallery. As well, beyond March 20th, MAWO has already set a March-April series of events with more forums and open discussions as well as another mobilization on April 24th. These events will build on the momentum of the 1year anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq and carry it further as our work extends far beyond that one day as we build a strong, effective anti-war movement that will one day challenge and defeat imperialism.

Plan and build with us as we expand the anti-war movement to include more and more people from across the Lower Mainland and as we connect our movement here with the anti-war movement worldwide.
