ISM VANCOUVER
MARCH CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Here is a brief overview of the many important events we have coming up 
in the next month. We will fill in the details closer to the individual 
events.

MONDAY, MARCH 1 7pm
BUILDING RESISTANCE TO OCCUPATION AND DISPLACEMENT
Location: Palestine Community Center, 1874 Kingsway (near Victoria)
Come join No One is Illegal (NOII) and ISM Vancouver for a nite of 
celebration 
and resistance thru films and presentations. Fundraiser for NOII $1-$5 
sliding scale. No one will be turned away.

SUNDAY, MARCH 14 2pm 
EXPERIENCES UNDER OCCUPATION: PALESTINE & IRAQ
Location: Palestine Community Center, 1874 Kingsway (near Victoria)

Reception and report back from two ISM Vancouver activists who recently 
returned from Palestine and Iraq.

THURSDAY, MARCH 25 7:30pm 
ISM MOVIE NIGHT AT THE CENTRE
Location: Palestine Community Center, 1874 Kingsway (near Victoria)
"Right to Education," "Shebab Dayia" (Lost Youth) and "Rachel Corrie 
Rafah Memorial"
ISM will be holding movies nights on the 4th Thursday of Every Month ($2 
- $5 sliding scale)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, MARCH 27-28
ISM NON-VIOLENT DIRECT ACTION (NVDA) TRAINING WEEKEND FOR PALESTINE 
VOLUNTEERS
Location: TBA

This training is now required for people who want to volunteer with ISM 
in Palestine. It is also open to anyone who wants to find out more about 
the ISM, the situation in the Occupied Territories, or direct action 
human rights solidarity work. 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31 7pm 
LIVE FROM OCCUPIED PALESTINE
Location: SFU Harbour Centre, Room TBA
Presentation by Jon Elmer & Valerie Zink, founders of 
FromOccupiedPalestine.org who recently returned from six months 
interviewing activists and intellectuals in Israel and Palestine.

PLUS AN IMPORTANT APRIL EVENT:
SUNDAY APRIL 18, 2-4pm
